How long have you been in business?
RIM was founded in 1986
What is your primary product or service?
Providing community-based support to asylum seekers and offering English classes for immigrants living in the community.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
By offering English classes to people who were new in the community.
I have been working in refugee issues since 1977.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
RIM offers community support to uprooted people. Many of them have been through very serious trauma and community-based support is very healing.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
RIM has Clusters in Cambridge, Chelmsford, North Shore, Metro North and Metro West. We plan to begin 4 new Clusters.
