Folan Contracting Services, Inc. has been in business since 1992.
What is your primary product or service?
Over the past twenty years, we've perfected every process of preserving, protecting, beautifying, and building a home. Each project we undertake is assigned a qualified project manager whose job it is to review, on a daily basis, a project's progress, examine the quality of workmanship and make sure that all is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1988 our company's founder was given opportunity to apprentice with some of the best contractors in Boston, and set himself up as a subcontractor. By 1994, Folan Contracting had become one of the most reliable and referred contractors in eastern Massachusetts.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One of the most important differences between Folan and many of our competitors is the emphasis we put on communicating with our clientele. The project manager is in direct contact with the customer on a daily basis and is always available to address their concerns and answer any questions that they may have. We never want our clients to feel "lost", uninformed or overwhelmed during this process. Their input is crucial and we encourage and need their participation.
We also know what an imposition construction and remodeling work can be to our clients lives and we make every effort to minimize the dust and debris. At the end of each day we clean the work area thoroughly and leave the area as usable to the client as possible.

Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 4 pm, weekend appointments may be availbale by arrrangements.
