McPherson designs and manufactures scanning monochromators, flat field imaging spectrographs, vacuum monochromators, and measurement systems for reflectance, transmittance, and absorbance testing. It provides accessories, including light sources, detectors, readout systems, data acquisition software, fiber optics, sample chambers, and light collection assemblies (telescopes and collimators). Its monochromators, spectrographs, and spectroscopy systems used for industrial OEM and research applications. The company’s unique components and systems are used in research applications ranging from lasers and lithography, solar, and energy to analytical and biomedical instrumentation

Chelmsford MA USA is our factory and headquarters. We sell domestically and internationally from right here in Massachusetts.

--From the airport exit, take Route 1A South to the Summer Tunnel ($3.50 toll)
--Stay in left lane through tunnel

It was operated as GCA/McPherson, a division of GCA Corporation, until 1981 when it was sold to D. M. Schoeffel. It has operated under various names: McPherson - Division of SI Corporation, McPherson Instruments, SI/McPherson and McPherson, Inc. Currently the company is simply called McPherson and is a privately held company
